The NE Chamber is proud to oversee the Nebraska Business Hall of Fame, Nebraska Business Hall of Fame Scholarship, Leadership Nebraska and NCCE programs that benefit not only State Chamber members, but all residents of our state.
Nebraska Business Hall of Fame This event is one of Nebraska’s most noteworthy business gatherings and the NE Chamber’s largest event of the year. The annual meeting provides Chamber members and others an opportunity to learn about the important issues and legislation impacting Nebraska’s economy and business community, while hearing from the governor, state lawmakers and policy experts. It also gives attendees a chance to pay tribute to some of the state’s most accomplished business leaders during the Nebraska Business Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Nebraska Business Hall of Fame Scholarship Program The NE Chamber has annually awarded several scholarships to deserving college students since 1997. To be eligible for a Chamber scholarship, students must attend a recognized Nebraska college or university and be pursuing degrees in a business-related field of study. All scholarship money is donated by Chamber members to the Nebraska Business Hall of Fame Scholarship Foundation. Leadership Nebraska Established in 2006, the State Chamber’s Leadership Nebraska is aimed at professionals who have demonstrated community and leadership experience. It was designed specifically to help these existing and emerging leaders gain more in-depth knowledge about the issues facing Nebraska’s economy, employers and communities. The year-long program consists of six sessions held across the state, covering key topics in economic development, agriculture, education, health care, and government/public policy. There are hundreds of Leadership Nebraska alumni statewide. NCCE The Nebraska Chamber of Commerce Executives (NCCE) is a professional development organization. Its main focus is to make the local chamber of commerce or community organization even better – regardless of size or location. NCCE wants to help local chamber staff promote and improve the professional standards and practices of the local chamber, trade association or community organization. At the same time, it is dedicated to educating and assisting local chamber executives and organization staff – salaried and volunteer. |
